Our new design of V Cradles are much wider than the standard model and have been designed for the new P&H Ultra Light Weight Volan and Virgo. To secure the kayaks we have two straps for each Cradle reducing the pressure on your expensive Kayak. They come with ECO PLATES as standard to allow quick and easy fitting and removal when not going paddling which helps reduce fuel consumption. See the information on all other items supplied.

The concept is simple once the plates are mounted on your roof bars in the correct position for transporting your kayak, fitting the Cradles is easy, and quick, just two bolts to secure them to the plates.
Not always using your vehicle for paddling, this system cuts down on the drag caused by having the Cradles on the roof.
Helps reduce Fuel consumption by allowing easy removal of Cradles ... less drag when not requiring Cradles.

These new J CRADLES are extra stong to hold your Double or Single Sit on Top Kayak transporting on it's side freeing up space on your Cross Bars for more items for example a Roof Box, Mountain Bike and other gear or two Kayaks. They are manufactured for our 12mm Polypropelene and 150mm wide with and extra support layer underneath and much longer than our Sea Kayak cradles to accommodate the width of your S.O.T. Kayak.

These are ideal for all kayaks on long journeys supporting and protecting your kayak from the stresses and stains of journeys on motorways and bumpy roads.

For side loading racks, these Cradles now 150mm wide now offering more support to your kayak. They are easy to load your Sea Kayak onto and hold it in the correct position for fitting the straps. Fully adjustable in width for Sea Kayaks. The low profile of these makes them quiet on the roof when travelling with no wind noise. These are the perfect solution for easy loading and safe transportation of valuable Kayaks.
Travelling with the Kayak resting on the hull helps save fuel compared to having the Kayak on it's side in J Cradles, test have proven.
