When ordering please supply the following information.
*REQUIRED the MAKE and MODEL of Sea kayak.
*ALSO REQUIRED; make of side loading rack for the fitting kit.
On testing I found loading the Kayak onto these NEW CRADLES much easier than J Cradles. You can get two pairs of these on your rack and if you need to carry more Sea Kayaks you will require our J Cradles.
They are profiled to have a snug fit on at the V section to hold your kayak safely for transportation. Due to the design of Sea Kayaks these NEW CRADLES have been specially profiled to fit the hull. The front J section is slightly taller than the rear J, all Sea kayaks have more depth in front of the cockpit with the rear J having less depth as the kayak is slimmer towards the rear. Your kayak is protected with 15mm high density foam over the Cradle, see the images.
Easy to adjust the distance between both sections and they are supplied in pairs with two straps. Fitting kits are supplied for most side loading fittings.
